John T. Murray, M.D.

Dr. John T. Murray is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and a Fellow with American College of Surgeons. Dr. Murray earned his undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania. He completed medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York City. He served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1968.

Dr. Murray is one of the founding physicians of Palm Beach Ear, Nose & Throat when it was established in 1968.

Dr. Murray is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, American Medical Association, Florida Society of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Florida Network of Otolaryngologists, and Palm Beach County Medical Society.


Carolyn J. Agresti, M.D.

Dr. Carolyn J. Agresti graduated Cum Laude with honors, in biology from Newcomb College in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Agresti completed two years of general surgery/trauma training at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York. She received her Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck training at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Agresti has advanced training in endoscopic sinus surgery, laser surgery of the larynx, and state of the art surgery for treatment of vocal cord paralysis.

At the New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center, Dr. Agresti instructed and trained residents as an Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology for four years. She established the Cornell Voice Laboratory and the Cornell Voice Care program to treat and to study vocal disorders. She has treated numerous famous people for the care of the professional voice. Dr. Agresti has published in the field of vocal disorders.

Dr. Agresti has been with PBENT since 1996. Dr. Agresti is Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, American Medical Association, American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Florida Network of Otolaryngologists, Palm Beach County Medical Society, Women’s Physician Association, Florida Society of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, and The Voice Foundation. She serves on the Board of The Rehab Center for Children and Adults.


Robert A. Dattolo, M.D.

Dr. Robert A. Dattolo is Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology. A United States Naval Scholarship recipient, Dr. Dattolo received his medical degree in 1986 from St. Louis University. After internship at Bethesda Naval Hospital, he studied aerospace medicine at the Naval Aerospace Institute in Pensacola, Florida. Continuing his Naval career, Dr. Dattolo spent the next two years as a Naval Flight Surgeon. In 1994 he completed his residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at San Diego Naval Hospital.

Dr. Dattolo served as Clinical Director of the Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Department at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida from 1994 to 1997.

Dr. Dattolo has been with PBENT since 1997. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, American Medical Association, Florida Network of Otolaryngologists, and Palm Beach County Medical Society.


Mark R. Murphy, M.D.

Dr. Mark R. Murphy is fellowship trained facial plastic surgeon. After graduating from both Tulane University's undergraduate school and the School of Medicine with highest honors, Dr. Murphy completed a five-year residency in Head and Neck Surgery at Columbia and Cornell Universities. He has also served as a fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The culmination of this training was being chosen from over forty candidates for a facial plastic surgery fellowship under Dr. Calvin M. Johnson, Jr., the founder of the Hedgewood Surgical Center. This prestigious fellowship is sanctioned by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Murphy is Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Having trained under two of the world's top five rhinoplastic surgeons, Dr. Murphy has a special interest in the area of facial cosmetic surgery. His interest also extends to the rejuvenation of the aging face and he is the author of the text, Masters of Facial Rejuvenation.

Dr. Murphy has been with PBENT since 2004. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Medical Association.


David A. Lehman, M.D.

Dr. David A. Lehman received his undergraduate degree from Yale University. After graduating as valedictorian from the University of Florida College of Medicine, he completed his internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at the University of Miami - Jackson Memorial Hospital. At Miami, he trained under head and neck cancer surgeons Dr. Jerry Goodwin, Dr. Don Weed, and Dr. Frank Civantos, pioneering sinus surgeon Dr. Roy Casiano as well as the world renowned ear surgeon Dr. Thomas Balkany.

Dr. Lehman's clinical interests span the breadth of otolaryngology, with a particular focus on head and neck oncology, thyroid disease, vertigo and balance disorders, hearing loss (particularly sudden hearing loss), and medical and surgical management of sinus disease.

Dr. Lehman has published thirteen articles in the field of otolaryngology and has presented his research at several national and local conferences. Most recently, he authored an article outlining a new staging system for chronic sinusitis and its use to facilitate the management of the disease.

Dr. Lehman has been with PBENT since 2005. He is a member of American Medical Association and the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He was recently named Director of Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital.


Joseph R. Zito, M.D.

Joseph R. Zito, MD received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. During his time there, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL where he was trained in the latest techniques in the management of the full spectrum of otolaryngological disorders by leaders in the field.

Dr. Zito has published several articles in the otolaryngology literature and has presented his research at local, regional and national conferences. His clinical interests encompass all aspects of general otolaryngology, including the medical and surgical managment of chronic sinusitis, chronic ear disease, balance disorders, pediatric otolaryngology, voice and airway surgery, and head and neck oncology.

Dr. Zito has been with PBENT since 2006.
