The Palm Beach Ear, Nose & Throat Association was formed by Dr. John T. Murray and a colleague in August 1968. The office was originally located next to Good Samaritan Hospital in a one story building. The nine-story Victor Farris Building now stands on the site. Our office is located in the nine-story Flagler Waterview Building.  Dr. Wendell C. Heaton, Jr., recently retired after 36 years of practice.

Dr. Carolyn J. Agresti, who trained at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York, joined the practice in 1996 and Dr. Robert A. Dattolo came in 1997. Dr. Dattolo was trained at The Naval Hospital, San Diego, California.

In 2004 we were pleased to announce the creation of Palm Beach Facial Plastic Surgery, a division of PBENT, with Dr. Mark R. Murphy as its director. Dr. Murphy was trained under two of the world's top five rhinoplastic surgeons.

Also in 2004 we introduced hearing aid services. John Walker, a Board Certified Hearing Aid Specialist, came to PBENT after 19 years of experience in his specialty.

2005 saw the addition of Dr. David A. Lehman. Dr. Lehman was trained at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. In 2006 we added Dr. Joseph R. Zito. Dr. Zito was trained at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Our practice continues to be on the cutting edge of technology with such services as Videostroboscopy and Transnasal Esophagoscopy. We have advanced diagnostic testing to determine the nature of your hearing loss to include evaluations of Auditory Processing Disorders in children, Neuromonics for the Management and Treatment of Tinnitus and the new Lyric Implantable Hearing Aids.

The growth of Palm Beach Ear, Nose & Throat continues to excite us. We look forward to being here helping our patients and our community for many more years.
